surprise phone call

We found out about Joshua a week ago today, and things have been crazy around here ever since!

Tom was at work in Chicago, when our agency called his cell phone. There was a baby at the hospital ready to come home with us - all we needed was to get there and bring a car seat.

Joshua Andrew was born on August 3rd and weighed a bit over four pounds. He spent a few weeks at the NICU, and came home with us on August 29th. He is happy and healthy and adjusting well to his new home.
